The 2007 Hong Kong District Councils election were held on 18 November 2007. Elections were held to all 18 districts of Hong Kong, returned 405 members from directly elected constituencies out of total 534 councils member. The pan-democrats suffered a devastating loss in the election.

Aftermath
In December 2007, Donald Tsang named 27 government-appointed Council members.[1]
Tsang was criticised for not appointing a single member of the pan-democrats in both 2003 and in 2007.[1]
